Something not working?

We are a small studio, so your email reaches the people who made the thing. Write to us and you will get a real reply, usually within two business days.

Common questions

I deleted the app and lost my progress. Can you restore it?

No, and we want to be straightforward about why. Your scores, XP, and unlocks are stored only on your device — we never receive them, so there is no copy on a server for us to send back. That is the trade we made for collecting nothing about you. If you reinstall, the game starts fresh.

I got a new phone. Does my progress transfer?

If you restored your new phone from an iCloud or encrypted computer backup that included the app, your progress usually comes across, because the backup includes the app’s local data. If you set the phone up as new, it does not.

Is there a leaderboard, or a way to compare scores with friends?

Not currently. A global leaderboard needs a server that receives your scores, and we have chosen not to build one. You can use the Share button to send a score to anyone you like.

The scoring seems wrong — my cut looked even.

It probably was not, and that is the game. Cuts are scored on the true area of each side, not on where your line crosses the middle. Shapes with holes or uneven mass, like a donut, move area away from the centre and make an even-looking line genuinely uneven. If you can reproduce a result you think is a real bug, send us a screenshot.

Do I need an account, and will you email me?

No account, ever. We have no way to email you unless you email us first, and we do not run a mailing list.

Is the game free? Are there ads?

The games are free, with no advertising and no in-app purchases. There is no tracking and no third-party SDK of any kind.

How do I report a bug?

Email support@waaigames.com with the game, your iPhone model, your iOS version, and what happened. A screenshot or screen recording helps more than anything else. We read every message.

Accessibility

We want these games to be playable by as many people as possible. Our website respects reduced-motion settings, supports keyboard navigation throughout — including the playable demos — and aims to meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA. Our games support Dynamic Type and system haptics, and can be played with sound off.

We are not going to claim it is perfect. If something is hard or impossible for you to use, tell us at accessibility@waaigames.com and we will treat it as a bug, not a feature request.
